What Sets MoJoKC Apart From Other Kansas City Real Estate Teams

MoJo Real Estate Team starts with the client’s priorities: price, timing and convenience. Our approach combines an assigned agent, shared marketing resources, regular transaction reviews and a listing agreement you can cancel without a cancellation penalty.

These are specific parts of our service to discuss when comparing Kansas City real estate teams. Ask how the plan applies to your property and your next move.

Your priorities shape the plan

A seller may care most about the expected proceeds, a particular move date or limiting preparation and showings. A buyer may need to coordinate financing, a lease or the sale of another home. The consultation starts with questions about those needs before decisions about pricing, marketing or offers.

Tell your agent which tradeoffs you are willing to make and which constraints are firm. Review the seller process or buyer process to prepare for that conversation.

An agent matched to your move

MoJo considers client fit and location when assigning an agent, and confirms availability before assigning a new inquiry. You will work with an assigned agent supported by team resources. Discuss who handles your updates, how to reach them and what backup arrangements apply to your transaction.

Marketing included in the seller process

MoJo’s marketing process is included at no additional marketing charge. Review the proposed preparation, photography, presentation, launch and showing arrangements with your agent. The work should fit the property and the seller’s priorities.

Ask which services are included and identify any separate repair or third-party expenses before authorizing them. Included marketing does not mean that every cost associated with selling a home is covered.

A listing agreement you can cancel

You can cancel MoJo’s listing agreement by telling the team, with no cancellation penalty. Discuss the process before signing. Any separate purchase contract or third-party commitments should be reviewed with the professionals handling them.

A shared process behind your agent

MoJo trains agents on its buyer and listing processes, provides shared tools and marketing materials, and meets on Mondays to discuss transactions. Friday mastermind sessions provide regular coaching. These practices give the team recurring opportunities to discuss questions and support the work on your move.

The MoJo Method explains the approach. Ask your agent how the process will work for you, including communication, offer review, inspections and the steps leading to closing.

Local experience you can evaluate

MoJo serves buyers and sellers across the Kansas City metro, including Liberty, Parkville, Overland Park, Lee’s Summit and Kansas City. Relevant experience depends on your location, property and price range. Ask for recent examples and have the agent explain their role, the client’s goal and the outcome.

Read MoJo’s Google reviews for clients’ descriptions of their experience. Use those accounts alongside a conversation about your needs and the written service agreement.

The experience we aim to create

MoJo’s mission is to create a “wow” experience and earn the client’s next referral. Putting the client’s needs first means discussing the available options and their tradeoffs, including when the client’s preferred timing calls for a different pace.

MoJo was founded in 2004 by Max Jones and Zac Morton and operates with Keller Williams Kansas City North.
