Here at MoJo, we have little use for the “assembly line” real estate agencies.
Too many agents aim to make a living by getting tons of clients to buy a new house as soon as possible… or to sell to the first person who makes an offer. That makes them a commission in the short term, but at the cost of their reputation.
Here at MoJo, we don’t believe in having “past clients.” Instead, we build a relationship with our clients and make sure they get exactly what they want & need.
Other agencies call it going “above & beyond.” We call it serving our clients.
That’s why nearly all of our new clients find us by referral.
Born & raised in Kansas City, Max Jones knows & loves this town.
After college, Max & his wife moved to NYC for 6 years, where his lifelong love of art led him to work with the Galapagos Art Space and the Skarstedt Art Gallery. When he returned to Kansas City, though, he knew he wanted to become a Realtor.
When he got his real estate license in Missouri & Kansas, Max knew he wanted to be his own boss. He says,
When I joined the MoJo team in 2010, I was finally able to set my own schedule, and spend a lot of quality time with my family.
Max sees himself as a connector. First and foremost, he connects clients with new homes they love, and with great buyers for their old home. But he also gets the chance to connect them with other people—business owners, friends, and more—that can help make their lives better.
“I love being a resource for my clients and building lifelong relationships,” he says.
Max believes in quality over quantity in serving his clients. In his experience, the best way to succeed in the real estate business is to delight his clients, so that’s what he aims for every day.
When he’s not helping clients find the perfect home for them, Max enjoys bike riding, fishing, & hunting. He’s a huge Chiefs fan, and watches football whenever he can. He loves family vacations, and his idea of a great evening is going out to dinner with friends.
If you want world-class, one-on-one service in choosing or selling a home, Max is your man. Give him a call at (816) 896–8890.
Like Max, Zac Morton was born & raised in the Kansas City area. A lifelong resident of Lake Waukomis, Zac knows the Northland better than anyone.

Today, Zac works hard to deliver service worthy of recommendation… and it’s working. He’s proud to say that 93% of his clients come to him through referrals.
When he’s not helping clients, Zac enjoys enjoys CrossFit, photography, and the arts. He love being active outdoors—from fishing, to camping, mountain biking, snowboarding, and kiteboarding.

Cindy knows the entire KC Metro area well as she has lived everywhere from Overland Park, Olathe, Western Shawnee, Downtown and now Parkville! She went to college at Western Illinois University, graduating with a Bachelors degree in Communications with a minor in Marketing.
After spending some time in corporate America, Cindy found it to be too mundane and desired a change of pace. Cindy likes being her own boss and loves that she has a flexible schedule where she isn’t stuck behind a desk from 9 to 5. Now she wakes up every day excited for the next adventure, which sounds cheesy but it’s true! Her favorite part about being a real estate agent is being able to help people with such a complex and emotional process, guiding them into their next big step in life.
Even when Cindy isn’t working, she’s still a busybody! She stays active by playing softball or sand volleyball on a weekly basis. Cindy also loves traveling and going to sporting events – she has a bucket list goal to visit every NFL and MLB stadium!
Curt was also born and raised right here in Kansas City. He currently lives at the wonderful Lake Waukomis. Curt was running his own carpet cleaning company for a while before he started real estate – so he knows flooring! When asked what he likes most about being in real estate Curt said that he likes how real estate agents are rewarded for their hard work.
Curt’s happy place is anywhere in the outdoors, spending quality time with his family. Fishing on float trips are amongst his favorite past times. Curt is also pretty handy with tools and remodeling as he occasionally rehabs homes with his best friend.
Just like the rest of the team, Ashley grew up here in Kansas City, going to school in the Park Hill School District. Like Curt, she is also a resident of Lake Waukomis. Ashley became interested in a career in real estate because she enjoys working with people, and helping to find the right home is such a personal experience she finds it fun to be a part of that! She also enjoys the flexibility it gives her to still enjoy family time and to not miss out on raising her kids.
Ashley loves spending time with family and friends when she’s not working. She enjoys traveling, especially with a big group of the people she loves most! Ashley also loves being active – running, walking, or anything that helps break a sweat!
